The Blue Eye, or Syri i Kaltër, is a stunning natural spring located in the mountains of Finiq, Albania. The spring's vibrant, captivating blue color, from which it gets its name, is a result of the extraordinarily deep and clear water emanating from a karst hole that reaches depths of over 50 meters. This site is surrounded by lush forest and scenic, unspoiled landscapes, making it an ideal location for nature photography. The crystal-clear turquoise water creates a striking contrast with the verdant greenery, providing a multitude of interesting textures and colors for photographers to capture. Photographers should visit early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds and to capture the best light. Note that swimming is not officially allowed, preserving its delicate ecosystem.
