The Baths occupy Virgin Gorda’s southwestern shore, just south of Spanish Town, within The Baths National Park. The landscape is defined by immense, rounded granite boulders weathered into natural chambers, narrow passages and seawater pools beside pale sand and clear Caribbean water. Its most recognizable scenes lie inside the grotto-like route, where shafts of sunlight enter through gaps in the rocks, illuminating wet stone, turquoise reflections and the scale of people moving beneath the boulders. A marked trail connects The Baths with Devil’s Bay using steps, ladders and handholds; the confined sections can be wet and require careful footing.
