Teufelsberg
📍 From Entrance, Germany
Teufelsberg, located in Berlin, Germany, is a man-made hill with stunning views of the city. The hill was formed from rubble that was left over from WWII bombings, and since then has served a variety of purposes. It was once the site of a Nazi military-technical college and listening station, and during the Cold War a NSA listening station. Today, Teufelsberg is abandoned, with tourists able to get small glimpses of what used to be. The area is also home to some street art and graffiti, as can be seen in the photos taken around the hill. For photographers, the hill provides a great opportunity to take beautiful aerial shots of the surrounding cityscape.
