Tessellated Pavement is an intriguing rock formation located near the Tasman Sea in Eaglehawk Neck in Tasmania, Australia. The pavement is formed from dolerite blocks, hexagonal stone slabs formed from cooled lava. The remarkable geometric pattern is enhanced by blue and gold hues from nearby algae on the rocky surface. From the wooden walkway you can appreciate the scenic views of the viewpoint. Access to the site is possible via the Eaglehawk Neck Lookout Car park, from which you can explore the tessellated pavement and nearby sites such as Tasman's Arch, the Devil's Kitchen and the Blowhole.
