The Terme Di Caracalla (Caracalla's Baths) are the largest Roman public baths ever built. Located in the southern area of Rome, Italy, they were constructed between AD 212 and 216 by the Emperor Caracalla and were used until the 6th century. The baths are made up of many wide open spaces, creating a majestic view of ancient Roman architecture. Inside the baths, you can find the remains of columns and statuary that have been preserved over the years. Another highlight of the Terme di Caracalla is the water system, which provided hot and cold water for the baths. Today, the remains of the Terme di Caracalla have been converted into an open-air opera stage, making it a popular sightseeing place that hosts performances during the summer months.
