
The Temple of Four Winds in North Yorkshire, UK is a stunningly beautiful and imposing stone structure. Located near the village of Appleton-le-Moors, the temple stands in an idyllic, peaceful spot atop a grassy hill on over 130 acres of land. The temple was built in the year 1821 and was modelled after ancient Greek and Roman temples. Inside, there are two beehive-shaped dovecotes, two belfries and a rotunda. A short walk away, visitors can admire sweeping views of the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales. The Temple of Four Winds is open year-round to all visitors and a perfect spot to enjoy a tranquil afternoon of outdoor exploration, as well as a stunning backdrop for photographs.
