The Tempio di Venere Genitric ("Temple of the Mother of Love") is an ancient Roman temple complex located in Rome, Italy. Construction on the temple began in 148 BC, and it was originally dedicated to Venus Erycina. It was reconstructed a few times until its design stabilized around the 6th century when it was consecrated to both Venus Erycina and Venus Genetrix. The temple was used for public ceremonies for a long time. Today, visitors to the site can see the entrance gate, ruins of the church, and other remains. There is also a Roman aqueduct nearby. Nearby attractions include the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
