
Tempio della Concordia is a historic ruin located in the Valle dei Templi, near Agrigento, Sicily, Italy. With the Il Giardino della Kolymbethra botanical garden next to it, it makes up one of the most beautiful and important archaeological sites in Italy. This temple, built of limestone and sandstone, was once dedicated to Agrigento's patron goddess, Concordia, and is one of the best preserved Greek temples anywhere in the world today. The temple was built in 430 BC and is part of the remains of the ancient city Akragas, which flourished for centuries until its destruction in the 3rd century BC.
