The Tiger Hill Pagoda, located in Suzhou, China, is a multi-story, octagonal-shaped structure that has been standing since the 11th century. It is one of the most famous and iconic landmarks of Suzhou and its surrounding area. The Pagoda stands at a height of 47 meters and features a steeple capped with a golden globe. Visitors will find multiple steps leading up to a viewing platform from the bottom of the Pagoda, and the views of the cityscape from atop the structure are truly breathtaking. On the inside, visitors will find a spiral staircase that leads up to the first floor, where a shrine reveals a stele tablet that is inscribed with poetry by a famous Chinese poet. The Tiger Hill area of Suzhou also holds several other ancient stone monuments and statues, including a replica of the famous Han-Dynasty bell.
