Tempe Downtown and "A" Mountain are two popular attractions in Tempe, United States. Tempe Downtown offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and public parks to meet the needs of visitors. The brick paved Mill Avenue is one of the most popular spots in town, filled with bars and restaurants as well as the iconic Tempe Town Lake and the Tempe Beach Park. "A" Mountain, or Hayden Butte, overlooks the city and offers great views of the valley as well as a popular hiking trail. There is also an "A" monument that marks the top of the summit. Don't forget to check out the amphitheater and botanical garden at the base of the mountain.
