
Technisches Museum U 995 is a preserved WWII German submarine museum situated in Laboe, Germany. It is a unique opportunity to explore the world of submarines and get a glimpse of the interesting part of Germany’s history. Admission is €3 for adults and €2 for students and children. Inside, there are displays which shows visitors the different parts of the submarine and what they were used for. Besides, visitors can explore the differences between types of U-boats, the gear and uniforms of its members, and the shipyard where it was built. Moreover, it has a memorial honoring the 40,000 German submariners who died between 1939–1945. It is a must-visit for history buffs and a great place to learn about underwater warfare.
