The Technicentre SNCF Hauts-de-France in France is a technical and maintenance center for the high-speed trains that travel all across the country. This center is located in Noé, a small industrial complex about 45 minutes north of Lille. Inside the center, visitors can explore the train maintenance workshop, the traction workshops, and the inspection workshops. Visitors can also get a rare glimpse of the 200 tonne overhead crane that lifts trains onto their rails and other machinery used to maintain fast trains. The center also has a repository of rolling stock, allowing visitors to explore the inside of the wagons too. The Technicentre SNCF Hauts-de-France offers educational tours and experiences to introduce the general public to its fascinating world.
