Teatro Petruzzelli is a historic theater located in Bari, Italy. It was originally opened in 1903 and was restored and re-opened in 2009 after a great fire destroyed the theater in 1991. The venue has hosted major Italian operas and international ballets, as well as music and theater performances. Teatro Petruzzelli is a beautiful venue, with a red and gold belle epoque decoration, crystal chandeliers, elegant hallways and carved wood features. It is a must-see for any traveler visiting the city – and is open to visitors who can go to the theater to explore its lavish interior.
