
The Teatro Griego Frank Romero Day is an open-air theatre, located in Parque San Martín in the city of Mendoza, Argentina. It was built in 1936 by the government of Mendoza at the request of Frank Romero Day - the philosopher, writer, politician and former governor of Mendoza. The theater consists of several levels with a total capacity of 3,200 seats. The stage, surrounded by a semicircle of montañas cordillera, is built with local granite rocks. The theater serves as the primary venue for a number of performing arts, including music, theater and dance performances, as well as various festivals and events. The theater also offers guided tours to visitors, giving them a chance to learn more about Frank Romero Day and the theater itself. The theater is close to the center of Parque San Martín and is easily reached by public transportation.
