Te Werahi Beach encompasses a vast stretch of white sand on the remote northwest tip of New Zealand. The iconic sand dunes, turquoise ocean and stunning sunsets, combined with long stretches of black sand beaches, make this piece of paradise an extraordinary sight to behold. There are lots of stunning natural features around including Waipoua kauri forest, 90-Mile Beach and the mysterious Te Illai-moe. Visitors to Te Werahi Beach can also take a boat ride to nearby Tapotupotu Bay to spot some wildlife including seals, penguins and dolphins. The spectacularly rugged landscape provides an unforgettable experience.
