Tarrant County Court in Fort Worth, United States, is the county court of record and the largest county court system in the United States. Established in 1838 as part of the Republic of Texas, the court is a major democratic institution with an elected county judge that leads its operations. It handles a wide range of civil, criminal and family court matters, including civil, criminal and family law cases. At the court, visitors can get a glimpse of justice being served in a county of diversity and justice. The civil court has jurisdiction over the jurisdiction of 60 Texas counties, and the criminal court has jurisdiction over crimes committed in Tarrant County.
