📍 Japan
Tamadare Shrine, in the foothills of Hakone Japan, is a beautiful shrine dedicated to prince Tamadare, the younger brother of Minamoto no Yorimitsu (also known as Raikō). The atmosphere of this shrine is peaceful and serene. The grounds are well-manicured with many ancient pine trees, ornamental stones and lanterns, surrounded by lush gardens. Inside the main shrine, you can find the enshrined deity of the prince. This sacred site is also known for its awe-inspiring views of the Hōeizan mountain range, visible from the shrine's main gate. Other attractions to see there include a small pond, tea house, wooden bridge, and an ancient Japanese-style gate. During the summer and autumn months, visitors can enjoy the vibrant colors of flowers and nature. Its a great place to appreciate the beauty of nature, make a wish, and have a peaceful moment away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
