Tall Hermann, built in 1901, is a 73.3 meter tall tower that towers over the historical city center of Kesklinna, Estonia. Nearby the tower is the Toompea Castle, making this observation point the perfect place to get an incredible view of the city. Inside the tower are several exhibitions, including a display of photographs with information of Estonian soldiers involved in past wars, making this a must-go for those interested in the country’s history. The tower is also full of symbols of Estonian independence, like a wreath, a flag, and a cornflower, all of which are beautifully illuminated at night. To visit, one has to walk up the well-maintained cobblestone path and enjoy the stunning views of the city. The climb is worth it!
