Table Cape Lighthouse is located in Table Cape, Australia, overlooking the picturesque Furneaux Islands. It is a picturesque white and red-bricked structure which stands proudly atop a hill offering visitors spectacular views of Bass Strait. The Lighthouse was built in 1888 to ensure the safe passage of vessels into the Tamar River. From the lookout at the top of the Lighthouse, visitors will be able to explore the beautiful bay and witness the sun setting behind the horizon. The Lighthouse is also a great destination for photographers who will find plenty of interesting land- and seascapes to capture, from the calming ocean waters to the jagged coast. It is also a great stop off point in the middle of your travels across the Great Eastern drive.
