Szabadság Bridge is a bridge over the Danube in the Hungarian capital city of Budapest. It was the longest bridge in Europe at the time of its construction in 1895. Built in an elegant neoclassical style, this iconic bridge has an arch span of 160m, making it the longest span of any bridge on the Danube. The bridge is an important symbol of the city, and is a popular spot for tourists and photographers. The top of the bridge's towers are decorated with the statues of Turul birds, the symbol of Hungarian mythology. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the Danube, the Buda Hills and the Hungarian parliament building from the bridge.
