
Swamp Meadow Covered Bridge is a small but picturesque bridge located in the town of Foster, in the US state of Rhode Island. It is a double-span Burr-arch truss bridge built in 1872, and stands at a height of 24 feet (7.3 meters). The bridge is located on a road centered between Harrisville and Foster Center. Since it was built in the 19th century, the bridge has not been through much maintenance and looks the same as it did when it was first built. This stunning, historic bridge is a favourite of photographers who come to capture its old-world charm as well as its rustic beauty. It also serves as a great spot for a romantic getaway. You can take a peaceful stroll through the surrounding meadows, or take a picnic in the warm summer months.
