
Sustlihütte mit Milchstraße is a beautiful mountain viewpoint located in the Swiss village of Wassen in the Canton of Uri. It offers stunning views of the Oberalp Pass and the nearby peaks of the Rätikon Mountain Range. With its high altitude of almost 2,600 metres above sea level, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the glaciers, the Andermatt valley and the surrounding towns. This is one of the most photographed places in Switzerland and it's not hard to see why; on clear nights, you can witness a spectacular view of the Milky Way, shooting stars, numerous planets and amazing views of the night sky, not to mention the twinkling peaks and valleys in the distance. It's not just a paradise for photographers; nature enthusiasts here can enjoy spotting some of the Alpine fauna, while hikers can explore the many trails that wind around this impressive region. You can start your journey at the sun terrace at the Sustlihütte, take the hike to the Soleggia summit or take a leisurely stroll through the picturesque pine forests.
