Supreme Court of the United States

The Supreme Court of the United States is the highest court in the country. Located in Washington, DC, it is open to the public and free to visit. The building is a marvel of history, as it has stood for over two centuries. Inside, visitors can learn about the history and function of the Supreme Court and view historic artifacts such as the courtroom set-up. Outside, you can walk around the building and take in the grandeur that surrounds it. Tours are available and if you’re lucky, you may be able to hear an oral argument from the gallery of the courtroom. A visit to the Supreme Court is an inspiring and memorable experience.
