📍 From Below, Iceland
The Sun Voyager is a sculpture located in the city of Reykjavík, Iceland. It is a stainless steel sculpture designed by Jón Gunnar Árnason that is meant to symbolize a Viking boat, an ode to the old sailing exploreres who roamed the seas. The structure is open to the public and easily accessible, located right next to the sea. The Sun Voyager provides a great viewpoint to take in the beauty of Reykjavík and its shoreline. It is even lit up in the night time, making it one of the most iconic points in the city. There are also a variety of cafes and restaurants nearby where you can grab a snack or lunch and take in the beautiful view.
