The Suleymaniye Mosque - Camii, located in Süleymaniye, Turkey, is one of the most significant monuments of Ottoman architecture. Offering spectacular views of the city and the Bosphorus, it was built by the famous architect Mimar Sinan in the 16th century and is the second largest mosque in Turkey. Notable features of the complex include a courtyard and a fountain, two minarets, a series of domes, and a number of marble tombs in the mausoleum. The intricately decorated marble balustrade around the tombs is a highlight of the complex. The grounds are open to the public, who can take a peaceful stroll in the gardens and admire the grandeur of the mosque from the outside. The area nearby is known for its abundance of restaurants and cafes, making it a great place to explore and relax.
