Stuttgart is a vibrant city situated in the south-western corner of German state of Baden-Württemberg. The city is known for its cultural attractions in the form of theatre, opera and ballet. It also has a reputation for being a home for engineering and automotive industries, owing to the world-famous Mercedes-Benz and Porsche factories located here.

Located on the Württemberg Hill, the beautiful Sepulchral Chapel was built between 1933 and 1935. It is dedicated to the first Duke of Wurttemberg, Eberhard the Bearded and his wife Duchess Sophia. The chapel is built in an octagonal shape, its walls are adorned with frescoes of the couple, and outside the main entrance four figures of saints are placed as sentinels. The chapel is a popular tourist destination, especially to admire its tasteful architecture and pristine Roman Catholic setting.
