📍 From Quai Saint-Étienne, France
Strasbourg and the Quai Saint-Étienne is a beautiful part of the city of Strasbourg and the Alsace region of France. The Quai Saint-Étienne is a long avenue that runs along the Rhine, located in the northeast part of the city. It is most picturesque during the late afternoon and evening, when the sun sets in the West and illuminates the waters of the Rhine.

The area is best known for its Baroque and neo-Renaissance style architecture, including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Palais Rohan. The fantastic mix of old and contemporary architecture makes it a great place to explore. Strasbourg also has a vibrant nightlife and many hidden gems, such as a variety of small bars and restaurants in the old, quaint streets of the city. The city is full of signs and symbols of Germanic culture, with its many beautiful old German-style houses. Its cute cafes and designer boutiques in Petite France, the historic district of Strasbourg, will also leave you with a lasting impression. An extensive network of canals, called “les petits bras”, or “little arms”, often obscured by trees, run throughout the city. These are perfect spots to relax and admire the beauty of the Rhine. Strasbourg and Quai Saint-Étienne offer great opportunities for photographing lush greenery provided by the Parks and Gardens located in the area. There are also plenty of bridges and monuments that can make stunning backdrops.
