Strada dei Cappelli is a narrow lane in the historic trulli quarter of Alberobello, the Puglian town famous for its clustered conical-roofed limestone houses. The street is defined by a sequence of low, whitewashed trulli whose beehive silhouettes and stacked stone roofing create a rhythmic skyline that reads like a study in geometry and texture. Photographically, the repeating cones and their decorative pinnacles offer strong symmetry and leading lines; sunlight grazes the rough chianca stone to reveal mortarless courses and subtle shadows between barrels of stone. Small doorways and shuttered windows punctuate the façade rhythm, providing human scale and compositional anchors beneath the cones. As a built fabric of dry‑stone technique, the scene communicates local craftsmanship as much as place.
