Storediket is a lake in the alpine foothills of Bergen, Norway. It is a popular spot for outdoor sports including fishing, camping, and swimming in summer and snowshoeing, skiing, cross-country skiing, and ice-skating in winter. Its clean and clear waters, surrounded by mountaintops and forests, make for a true outdoor paradise. Not to be missed are the idyllic fishing cabins, rustic wooden houses and old boathouses, providing a captivating photo opportunity all year round. In addition, the area is area known for its wide variety of migratory and resident bird species, with many rare species often spotted. In spring, the nearby hills are a common breeding ground for the majestic kingfisher. From one of the hills, you can also spot the three fjords that make up Bergen – the longest fjord in Norway.
