Stonecutters Bridge
📍 Hong Kong
Stonecutters Bridge connects the islands of Tsing Yi and Stonecutters Island in Hong Kong. The bridge is one of the longest of its kind, featuring a 1.8 km (1.1 mi) long cable-stayed main span. The suspension bridge carries four lanes of road traffic, linking Tsing Yi to the Cheung Ching and the West Kowloon railway line. The bridge offers stunning views of the harbour, surrounding islands and the Chinese metropolis of Shenzhen just across the border. The bridge also has some of the best opportunities to spot native wildlife such as cormorants and Chinese egrets. Make sure to bring your binoculars and camera to take advantage of the stunning views offered by this remarkable bridge.
