Stólpasund Beach, near Djúpivogur, is one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. Located on the southeastern coast of Iceland, the beach is surrounded by towering cliffs, making it an impressive sight. Stólpasund is unique in that its shoreline consists of various shaped stones and pebbles, all with the same coffee-colored hue. This makes for a wonderful textural contrast, and combined with the blue Atlantic waters and the steep cliffs, the beach provides one of the most stunning vistas in Iceland.
