Steinbachtalsperre vor der Flut is a impressive 153-acre water reservoir located in Euskirchen, Germany. Created in 1969, it provides incredible views of the surrounding forested hills. While considered a very popular recreational attraction, the area continues to show its wild side, making it perfect for the nature lover. While here, you can canoe or kayak, picnic and camp, or simply enjoy the breathtaking sights. A treat for photographers, the area provides plenty of opportunities to capture the beauty of its landscape – be it the natural green scenery or the wooden observation pavilion, the many animals that inhabit the area, or the breathtaking sunsets over the lake.
