The Steilküste Schwedeneck, or Schwedeneck Cliff, is a stunning natural sight worth visiting in Schwedeneck, Germany. A popular surfing spot, the cliff is the highlight of the seaside village. It rises over 58 feet above the water and is home to many seabirds. From the upper platform, there is an incredible panoramic view of the Baltic Sea and the nearby island of Fehmarn. During low tide, you can explore the nearshore rocks and admire the wildflowers and plants that call the rocks home. The best part? Admission is free! If you’re looking to take in the sights, the 10 kilometer long walking trail around the cliff is perfect, offering the opportunity to witness the sun setting over the sea.
