📍 Germany
Constructed in the 1970s, the Steglitzer Pinsel—also called the “Bierpinsel”—is a futuristic, red tower that once housed restaurants and bars. Standing proudly at the junction of Schloßstraße and Albrechtstraße, it’s hard to miss this unique piece of Pop Art architecture. Although currently closed for renovation, its bold shape and bright color still make for an intriguing photo opportunity. Designed by architect duo Ursulina Schüler-Witte and Ralf Schüler, it represents an era of experimental urban design in West Berlin. For a quick break, consider exploring nearby shopping streets and cafés after snapping a few pictures of this iconic landmark in Steglitz.
