The Staubbachfall Waterfall is a 975 foot tall (297 m) waterfall located in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. It is often called the most beautiful waterfall in the Swiss Alps and is one of the main attractions of Lauterbrunnen Valley, a popular spot for both hikers and photographers alike. The waterfall cascades down the side of a high cliff and has several levels that can be seen from the valley and the popular viewing platform at its base. The viewing platform at the foot of the waterfall makes it possible to get up close and personal with the water and take some truly amazing pictures. It is a fairly easy hike from the nearby valley station, but make sure to bring suitable footwear. It is a truly remarkable sight especially during the summer months when the water is at its fullest.
