Stallburg der Hofreitschule is an 18th-century palace situated in Vienna, Austria. It was the original site and stables of the Imperial Spanish Riding School. The building, which is located in the historic city center near Michaelerplatz, features both a garden and an inner courtyard, which are accessible to visitors. Its two grand facade arches, 13 side arches and four windows add an air of elegance to the building. Inside, a mix of baroque and Empire-style staircase lead to an upper hall where the stalls of the horses used by the school are located. The Stallburg also houses original sculptures from Italian artists from the Baroque period. The Hofburg complex in Vienna is the largest and most important artificial building of the city, and the Stallburg is an essential part of it.
