Stadhuis van Veere is an old, Gothic-style town hall in Veere, Netherlands. Built in 1540, the Town Hall is a large & impressive building with an ornate central doorway topped by two round towers. Inside there are several centuries-old oil paintings and 16th century stained-glass windows. There is a large clock tower with four dials which can be seen from the waterfront. Visitors often take a guided tour of the building. The main entrance is laden with Flemish paintings and carvings of the Guild of St. George. Visitors are also welcome to stand on the balcony of the Town Hall and take in views of the nearby Veerse Meer, or Vere Lake.
