St. Paul's Cathedral is the iconic landmark of London and the focal point of religious life in the city since the 17th century. Built after the Great Fire of London in 1666 and designed by Sir Christopher Wren, St. Paul's is a magnificent example of British Baroque architecture and its huge dome is the second largest in the world. Inside, visitors can explore the beautiful mosaics and artworks, experience a memorable view across London from the Golden Gallery and explore the Whispering Gallery which carries sound around the great dome. Tours run throughout the day and visitors can learn more about the history and culture of this iconic London Cathedral. The Cathedral also hosts regular Evensong services, weddings and other religious services. For a truly unforgettable experience, visitors can climb over 500 steps up to the Stone Gallery and catch the stunning night views from the top.
