St Michael’s Mount is a small rocky island located just off the coast of Cornwall in the United Kingdom. It was originally connected to the mainland by a causeway and is now a popular tourist attraction. The island houses a unique medieval castle, St Michael's Castle, as well as a monastery, gardens, a lighthouse, and a harbour. It is a beautiful natural location with views out across Mount’s Bay, the Cornish coast, and the nearby Lizard Peninsula. Visitors can access the island by using the causeway when the tide is out, and there is a ferry available during high tide. St Michael's Mount is now owned by the National Trust and managed by the St Aubyn Estate. It is home to over 2000 years of history and is a wonderful place to explore.
