St Michael's Mount is an iconic island located in the bay of Mount's Bay, Cornwall, England. It is a tidal island, and the castle at the top of the island is separated from the mainland by a causeway at low tide. Surrounded by various subtropical plants, this rocky island is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors for its spectacular views and beautiful gardens. Its turreted castle, with the harbour beneath, creates a romantic and idyllic atmosphere. Most of the time, it is possible to access the island by foot during the low tide and take a boat during the high tide. Mosaic pavement, a chapel and some very old gardens are among the features that can be seen during the visit. The majestic stone walls and towers of the 16th-century castle are also worth discovering.
