St John’s College is an iconic college in the University of Cambridge, England. It spans three rivers: the Cam, the Granta and the Rhee, and is one of the largest Cambridge Colleges with over 2,000 students. It enjoys a peaceful riverside location with beautiful architecture in the town of Cambridge. The College was founded in 1511 and is home to many of the university’s oldest buildings, including the delightful seventeenth century Hall and Wren Library. The main entrance to the College is the Clock Tower, which is one of the most recognizable features of the Cambridge skyline. St John’s College also features two of Cambridge’s most spectacular gardens; The First Court and The Second Court. There are several impressive chapels, including the College Chapel built in the 1630s. Visit the college and take a guided tour of the grounds and buildings, and learn about the history and traditions of the University.
