St. Anne's Church
📍 Lithuania
St. Anne's Church in Vilnius, Lithuania is a stunning example of the unique and eclectic late Gothic style. This beautiful church was built between the years of 1495 and 1500 and is the most outstanding example of the Lithuanian Flamboyant architectural style. Adorned with slender towers and a wealth of intricate detail, the church was an expression of the patrons' piety and of the then-popular Gothic style. Inside, the church impresses with its simplicity and harmonious proportions. The church is special in that it doesn’t have an altar, but rather multiple altars, situated side by side, each dedicated to a different saint. It is an amazing example of marvellous architecture and a must see destination in Vilnius.
