📍 From Hurricane Point Lighthouse, Japan
The S.S. Columbia is a monumental, fictional ocean liner permanently docked in the American Waterfront area of Tokyo DisneySea in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture. Styled after the grand transatlantic steamships of the early 20th century, it reinforces the park’s imagined New York harbor setting and contains dining venues and the Turtle Talk attraction rather than serving as a working vessel. Its black hull, white superstructure, red-and-black funnels, rigging, and rows of illuminated portholes create one of DisneySea’s most recognizable silhouettes, especially when viewed across the water, where reflections and surrounding period façades complete the maritime scene.
