The Squadron A Armory in New York, United States, is a historic armory located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Built between 1897 and 1915, it is one of the largest and most complete armories in the city. The Armory has 63 drill rooms, and a 65,000 square foot indoor driving track that was used for military practice. It also has a state-of-the-art gymnastics track and a 25-meter heated swimming pool. Today, the Armory is a popular venue for large events and performances, as well as for hosting private events. The exterior of the Armory has become an important piece of New York City’s history and is often featured in movies and television shows.
