Spiaggia di Cava Grado is a small sandy cove tucked beneath the cliffside of Sant'Angelo, the compact, largely pedestrian village on Ischia’s southern shore. Its interest comes from the intimate meeting of sea and rock: low cliffs and terraces of pastel houses form a framed backdrop that emphasizes scale and texture. Photographically, the cove yields strong horizontal layers—sand, glassy water, rocky headland and village—while reflections of nearby boats and buildings animate calm sea surfaces. Access follows Sant'Angelo’s narrow pedestrian lanes and short steps down to the shoreline.
