๐ From Below, United States
Spaceship Earth is an iconic geodesic sphere located in the Epcot theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, United States. It is twice the size of a real-life Spaceship and stands at 180 feet high. Inside, there is a narrated slow-moving Omnimover dark ride system, sponsored by Siemens, that takes guests through a history of communication. Scenes inside cover the ancient Phoenicians, the building of the transcontinental railroad, the advent of the telephone and computer, and finally space exploration. The ride exits through the middle of the globe, overlooking World Showcase. Outside, guests can take pictures of the globe and enjoy a spectacular view of the parks and surrounding areas.
