Sóstó Természetvédelmi Terület is a wetland nature reserve in the northern part of Székesfehérvár. Known for its abundant flora and fauna, with scenic walking trails, boardwalks, and educational spots. Birdwatchers can see numerous protected bird species, while families can enjoy interactive signposts about local ecosystems. The on-site observation tower offers panoramic views over the wetlands. Because the area is protected, visitors are asked to follow designated paths and respect conservation rules. Entrance is typically free, and it’s easily accessible by car and public transport from the city center.
