The Sony Center is a landmark in the heart of vibrant downtown Berlin. It's a dynamic mix of modern architecture, media, culture, and shopping complex. It comprises of several modern buildings and artworks all grouped around the spectacular 50-meter high glass-clad atrium. A big multi-screen LED wall is the center's most striking feature. Adjoined to the complex are two shopping and entertainment malls - the more upscale CineStar and the Sony Plaza. The area also host a number of restaurants and cafés. Taking a leisurely walk at the Sony Center is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Its open lawn and grand staircase is also a popular venue for events and frequently used by filmmakers and photographers.
