Songdo International City is a planned district of Incheon built on land reclaimed from the Yellow Sea. Part of the Incheon Free Economic Zone, it presents a different side of the city from Incheon’s older port neighborhoods: broad streets and a skyline of glass offices and apartment towers. Songdo Central Park brings that scale into focus, with landscaped paths and a seawater canal winding among the high-rises. From the water’s edge, reflections soften the towers’ sharp outlines and make the contrast between engineered landscape and urban greenery visible.
