
Smith Covered Bridge, near Plymouth, United States, is one of the oldest single-span wooden covered bridges in the country. Built in 1904, the bridge is on the National Register of Historic Places and has become a popular travel and photographic destination. At 70 feet in length and over 15 feet in height, the bridge is supported by sinewy steel through trusses and has a wooden frame. Its red exterior hides a tranquil interior of lattice windows and a tongue-in-groove floor, allowing visitors and photographers to capture its tranquil and rustic beauty.
